Jamestown Road Baptist Church is a family of Christians who have come together from many countries to worship and serve God. The church began 115 years ago when a small group of people left the Baptist congregation in Lower Abbey St. and moved to Phibsboro to begin Phibsboro Baptist Church. In 1994 the church decided to sell its building, which was in bad repair, and start afresh. We bought 29A Jamestown Road in Finglas and when we moved in we changed our name.
