What do we teach?

About the Bible

It is the very word of God & therefore the final authority in faith and practice. Our aim is to understand it as clearly as we can and apply it as practically and full as we can in our daily experiences.

About God

That there is One God in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
That the Lord Jesus Christ is perfect deity and perfect humanity: the only mediator between God and human beings. We teach His virgin birth, sinless life and sacrificial death on the cross; His burial, bodily resurrection and ascension to heaven; His high priestly ministry and His personal return.
That the Holy Spirit works in the giving of new life to sinners; lives in Christians, helping them grow more like Jesus, and giving them power to serve and obey Him.

About the Devil

About human beings

We were created in the image of God; became sinners through Adam's disobedience and are subject to God's wrath and condemnation until we end our rebellion and believe the Gospel.

About salvation

Sinners are made right with the Holy God by His God grace alone, through faith alone in the Lord Jesus Christ alone.
That the soul is unconditionally immortal; that heaven and hell are real and that believers will experience eternal joy in heaven; while conscious eternal punishment in hell awaits those who die impenitent.

About the Local Church

It is a community of baptised believers gathered under the headship of Christ for worship, fellowship, instruction and evangelism. It has two ordinances, baptism and the Lord's Supper:
That each Christian is responsible to obey and serve the Lord; and that the local church has a duty to exercise godly discipline in a loving and caring fashion.
